Hi

I have a Intel Original D945GNT motherboard. This board supports memory frequency upto 667MHz. I have one Kingston DDR2 533MHz 1 GB RAM. Recently I ordered 2x1 GB Crucial DDR2 667 MHz RAM from newegg.

My question is can I run these two new RAMs with my old RAM? I have 4 memory slots. But will 667MHz RAMs work with 533MHz RAM? Or do I need to discard my old RAM and use the new ones only?

Any help is highly appreciated

Thanks

Yes, the new ram will work at the lower speed.
