because of this the "safely remove hardware" icon does not appear. I have tried retrieving the icon by Start>RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll, but the icon did not reappear. What i do. Please can you help me.

If it's a hard disk, it may not be hot swappable.
If it's a flash drive not appearing:

Right click in an empty part of your taskbar, select PROPERTIES, go to Notification area, then click the CUSTOMIZE button. Scroll down the list until you see the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE item. Highlight it, and from the drop down list to the right choose Hide When Inactive or always show.
