I was planning on using it for gaming and college and heard that right now the dual cores were better for gaming
If i am wrong please tell me

Yeah dual core is better for gaming right now, but most of the work is on the GPU, id get the Q6600 because soon games will use more than 2 cores. the Q6600 will still use its 2 cores for games which is plenty and will still have 2 cores available. I think that the Q6600 can be better than Dual cores because if a program decides to activate while playing a game you have 2 extra cores to do the work.

Not the best person to answer the mobo question but i know asus is a very good mobo from what i hear.

Never heard of DFI though. I seen somewhere for a 9800 GTX for about $200, give me a minute to look.

Alright I like the looks of that graphics card

Never heard of DFI though
they don't make very many boards but all of them are suppose to be good quality
the also have huge bios with lots of options from what i hear

$214.99 after $20.00 rebate w/ CoD4 sounds like a sexy bundle. I wouldn't get a OCZ PSU. Look at Antec/Corsair/PCP&C. I also like XFX with double lifetime warranty, and you won't void your warranty with any additional overclocking. You also get cool stuff.
