Hello, i installed a USB device, CReader made by Launch to my computer. i got the usual 'new hardware found' and then was prompted to point to the appropriate drivers. the first was FTlang.dll. i used explorer to search my computer to find it and found several. pointed to one and proceded. then was prompted for another, (i can't remember which one) but i pointed to the same folder. then i got the message that 'device driver not intended for this platform). i tried to remove and install but still same problem. any ideas?

Drivers usually have an installer. Are you certain you are installing the drivers correctly? Perhaps there is an inf file there you can right-click and select Install, or at least read and see what files go where, but that won't get them registered.
