My pc blue screens because of the ram. When i have 2 1 gigs in there it blue screens and when i have 1 it works just fine. Anyone have a reason. Is it because i have bad ram or is it cause of the board. My board is ecs g31t-m(1.0) and my ram is OCZ2G8002GK. I know my board is crappy but i at least expect it to run at specification. Are there any settings i need to mess around with

Thanks

I agree with AznGuy0028 - I would run memtest for at least 8 hours to test for memory errors. I would also make sure your RAM is running at it's rated voltage and timings. The specs for your RAM state it can run at DDR2 800 at 1.8v and 5-5-5-15 timings. If your voltage and timings are set correctly in the BIOS, I would try bumping up the voltage to 1.9v and run memtest again. If it fails memtest with errors it's RMA time.
