Can someone suggest a monitor for me?

Budget= $500 plus/minus $50 dollars
Size= 24"-30"
Purpose= PC gaming, Xbox 360 gaming, HD Movie Watching
Other= Widescreen, LCD, I would also prefer a glossy finish on the screen compared to a matte.
My GPU= Radeon HD4870

Any suggestions with links and some reasons would be appreciated!

Thanks

First suggestion is do a little research on your own first, that way you won't ask foolish questions? Once you have established a few possible candidates, and figured out what fits into your price range, then come back and ask questions.

I did.

And by the way, which question was "foolish" exactly?

ANYWAY!

This one is great. My friend has this one and it's gorgeous! It has HDCP so HD/Blu-Rays wont be a problem.

HDMI :)

If you don't already have a Xbox 360 with HDMI; an adapter should use up the last of your funds. They are pricey.

The 24 to 30" part, a little basic research would reveal that anything over 26" will be way outside your stated budget.

That one is TN. For the best image quality, you want an S-PVA. The Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP is a good choice for this. Much better viewing angle and color than the Acer (a whole bunch of inputs too). Slightly above your stated budget, but worth it for the extra quality IMHO.
