Processor: 45nm Intel Core2 Duo E7200 2.53GHz 1066MFSB 3M Cache (currently OC at 3.6)
CPU Cooler: OCZ Vendetta / Thermaltake 120mm BB/Sleeve Fan (Chasis Fan)
Memory: Buffalo DDR2-800MHz PC2-6400 2GB x 2 (4GB)
Motherboard: Asus Intel P35 P5K-E Wifi-AP Edition
HDD: SATA2 Seagate ST3250310AS 250G 7200rpm 8M Cache (Adding a second drive at Slave 0)
Graphics: Sapphire EAH3870/512M / ASUS EAH3850/G/HTDI/512M (not sure if i'll keep this due to PCI-E limitations)
PSU: Antec 500W
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate
So this is what i've got so far, I've managed to get my overclock pretty stable at 3.6 with current hardware however i'm having serious issues with how Real Temp Core Temp and Asus AI Probe are displaying temperatures. All 3 programs are showing different temperatures ranging from 10-20 degrees off. Anyway i've been following Real temp as i've read that its probably the most accurate for the 45nm Processors. Let me know what you think and where you can see some improvement.
Also Technically I only have the 3850 right now the 3870 appears to be currently lost in the mail according to Canada Post :S. Either way I know that crossfire with a 3870 and 3850 isn't as good as two 3870's or even a 4850/70 but I already had the 3850 and figured why not go up, (even though i recently discovered the limitations of the 16x PCI-E and the second slot being 4x PCI-E.
