I've been doing some looking at what MoBo to get and have been loking at options of a P45 or x48 chipset Here is what I'm looking at...Hope to get some feedback. M9 case and Antec NEO-650 Blue LED PSU.

BioStar P45

Gigabyte P45

Asus P45 Deluxe

MSI P45 Platinum

DFI x48

Gigabyte X48

I like the thought of dual LAN and varied Slots so I can add what I need or want. Would 1 PCB or slot color look neater under Blue LED's?

Everything pretty much looks blue/blue-ish under blue LEDs except black PCB which looks black. Of course color of slots and PCB were pretty low on my list for making my MoBo choice.

My EVGA 790i Ultra is black with green slots. I think that looks the best under any light. I have an Antec 900 with a blue LED PSU. When the room is dark everything is BLUE

It all matches the blue LED on my Samsung 24" monitor! :ouch: :heink:

If you're planning on going Crossfire anytime in the future go with the X48 board.

Thanks for that feedback. Color isn't that big of a deal just good function and layout. I haven't built a system since my P4P800 Deluxe and then color wasn't a thought. Now that there are options it's something I thought I'd see if it mattered. So many makers of Mobo's and stuff now... MSI cooler pipes look cool. Biostar is cheaper and has the claim about FSB. Gigabyte and Asus I've always heard the most good things about. So please keep giving me thoughts.

Stop playing with that you will go Blind!

Look at the P5E Deluxe. It is a X48 Chipset. Its the Rampage Formula Minus the LCD Poster and CLR CMOS, Power and Reset Buttons.

Will do. It was sort of on the list but I was trying to limit by price and features.
