Just built up my first computer last night (far too late at night!)
I haven't had much time to play with it other than booting it up and checkign to make sure everything was working.
Everything seems to boot up fine (no beeps but for whatever reason my case doesnt' have a case speaker - go figure), gets me to that "quick load" screen, lets me enter bios.
My DVD drive is recognized in the SATA list, but there's nothing else there. I have the HDD (WD 500gb Caviar) connected to the Marvell eSata instead of a normal SATA connector.
While it doesn't show up in this list, if I edit boot order it shows up in the order, recognized as the WD5000AAKS it is.
Just want to make sure this is normal and not some weirdness going on!
Only other hitch I've had is after windows Vista OS install cd was put in, it loaded up but only as far as the pretty background - it never went further. I didn't have time to try it more than once, though, so this may be a non-issue.
