Hello

I recently build my system, and I selected a XFX 680i LT motherboard. I bought two 8800gt's and have always had a problem SLI'ing them. After tons of tech support, I detirmed that its my top PCI slot causing the issue. However XFX wants me to send my board and do some testing and said it would be a few weeks before my next board, hardly an option for someone who needs their computer every day.

So I am just going to replace it, I have a Q6600, and like I said, I want to SLI my 8800 gt's. I would like to stay around 150 bucks, and think I want to try evga unless someone has a good suggestion...

What chipset should I go with?

Since you already have SLI you will want 780i, but that is out of your price range. You could try 750i, although you might see a performance dip since it works at 8/8 in SLI instead of 16/16 like 680i and 780i.
