I will be building a new machine in November. Question here is, Rampage Formula or P5E Deluxe? In side by side feature comparisons they look almost identical. Is there really any huge difference between the 2 mobos? I will be overclocking an E8400 or a Q9650 on this board. Video will be a single 4870X2 at first, with a second 4870X2 coming at tax time.

Rampage because you are planning on going crossfire. The P5e Deluxe will only run the PCI-e at x8 and x8 instead of the full x16 x16 that you will get from the Rampage.

P5E Deluxe is an X48 board. It will support 2 PCI Xpress connections at 16x speed.

My primary concern is if the P5E is a lesser board than the Rampage electrically. Asus doesnt say much on their website. If you compare pics of the boards side by side, other than a few small things, they really look quite similar.

none, get a X38 board like ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA its cheaper and X38 and X48 doesnt really have alot of difference.
