a typical PC wireless NIC has an antenna sticking out of the back (RPSMA antenna) while a typical notebook does not. nevertheless I've noted that often times a notebook computer will receive a better wireless signal than a desktop computer. hmmm...

so, where is the wifi antenna located in a notebook? I'm sure this varies between manufacturers/models, so a general idea will do. I've never seen one, or maybe I have and just couldn't identify it. and that's where you come in :hello:

The antenna is located in the lid surrounding the LCD screen.
