Ok...after weeks of researching and going back and forth between components I have finally settled down on this high end gaming rig.
Im sticking with Nvidia GPU's and mobo cuz i've always been a Nvidia guy.

I already have Windows Vista - 64 bit Home edition, 24 inch Samsung monitor and the Antec 1200 case.

I know Im not getting the best price/performance with this rig but I'm ok spending more for a better machine.

So what does everyone think? Any suggestions or comments? Am I forgetting anything?

Will adding a audio card help free up memory? I only use 2 speakers. Do I need thermal compound or anything when I watercool CPU?

I went with the 780i mobo since the 790i from what i am reading still has a lot of bugs/install issues....And I am fine with DDR2 Ram. I plan on overclocking this rig so I thought that I would try watercooling for the first time. Added the chipset cooling block to help with northbridge. I want to SLI in order to get better performance in the higher resolutions. native resolution is going to be 1960 x 1200.

Thanks for your comments!

I would go with Intel chipset and 2 4870s over 260's.

You dont really need pc2 8500 ram as 6400 works just fine but i mean if you want to spend its your choice it will do well either way
