The price with rebates and with fans and adhesive would come to around $1050 US. I want to be able to run games well. I don't need to run Crysis at super duper high settings, but I would like to enjoy the visual graphics of the game at 1280x1024 resolution and high settings, if possible.

Most of my gaming is HL2, SupCom, Sins of a Solar Empire, BF2, CoD4 and the like. As long as this can run those super great then I would be content. I am going to need this for about 4 years so I can upgrade a get another card for Crossfire and add some more RAM later on. Opinions/feedback?

Suggested to be changed :
Case : Coolermaster RC690 or Antec 900
PSU : Corsair 450-550W for 1 GPU or 650-750W for 2 GPU.
The rest is good.
If you wanna buy 8GB RAM, just make sure that you do buy the 64 bit OS, 8GB RAM can only be achieved with 4x2GB.

Nope! DDR800 will still be used. But if you reaally2 want it and can still afford it than you can also buy those DDR2 1200, but it is more expensive. I suggest that you stick with those DDR2 800.
The rest stays as it is.
Tips : P45 chipset can only 8x each on Xfire, while X38 and X48 can use 16x each on Xfire. X38 and X48 are also better in OCing.

Note : The combo ASUS P5Q and HD4850 is on newegg.
