If a 4850x2 comes out or not is all up to AMD's partners. They may not release it as it may compete with the 470x2 and has no good price segment. As you can get 2x 4850's for $150 after MIR's right now. I would recommend 4850 Cf over waiting for a card that may or may not be released.
