My last computer has just died and all my data is on a Raid hard drive. My new computer has a sata drive. I want to interrogate my raid drive to get the data from it can I do it externally or what should I do

I read many places where they say it is chipset propritary when using on-board. So, unless you have the same mobo or same chipset on the new one, you should not be able to read it. but if you had a RAID card, you should.

Reminder: In case of a failure, a RAID is harder to get back your data. So a backup is the key here!
