How do these compare?

Hi, I would like to know how these two RAM compare:

OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227124)

and

OCZ SLI-Ready 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227198)

I have no use for the SLI-Ready feature, but the second one is almost ten dollars cheaper than the first (w/shipping), so I was wondering if these two were functionally the same.

Thanks.

Your links did not work. Edit your post so that there are spaces around the links.
The second one operates at 1.8 volts with a timing of 5-5-5-15
the first one needs 2.1 volts to get to a better timing of 4-4-4-15.
The difference in performance is miniscule, look at the cheaper one.

For ram, you should go to the ram vendor's web site and use their ram configurator. You enter your mobo, and get a list of compatible ram parts. Corsair, Kingston, and Patriot have configurators. I don't know about OCZ and others.

With ram so cheap, these days, I don't know if I would get any 1gb sticks. Look for a 4gb kit in a 2x2gb configuration.

Just so you know, you might have to bump the voltage of the 1.8v set up to 2.1 or so. It won't void the warranty or damage anything, but my board had to have teh voltage upped, otherwise my system wouldn't boot at all.

also, i'd go for a 4gb kit now that they seem to be popular.
