Gigabyte discontinued

I have a gigabyte ga-p35-ds4 mb rev 2.0 ....and a 6750 oc'd to 3.2 on stock air around 42 degrees under load...... i'm very happy with the board..does anyone know why it has been discontinued...the board seems great, nice heatpipes easy to use but it puzzles/ buggs me why it has been discontinued

Because it's based on the P35 chipset and I don't think Intel is selling any more of those.

no because there are p45 chipsets that are newer, so why bother to continue to make old tech. The computer industry moves fast and soon there will be P55 chipsets coming out in a few months.
