Problem overclocking amd 720

I appreciate the advise but when I change only the multiplier and save it, my systems goes to reboot and does not. The power button turns off but the fans, motherboard and video card continue to run. I have to to the reset button the motherboard to get it to reset and then it reboots back to the bios so the date and time can be reset. Ive search online for an answer and still can not figure it out. I also have two DDR3 1333 2gb memory sticks and it shows they are only running at 533mhz and I cant seem to get those to clock at the listed rate. Im about to kick this thing!

I have a ESC A790GXM-AD3 which is suppose to make overclocking easy. Let me know if you need anymore information so you can lend your help. The wierd thing about the memory is that the bios show it reading as 533Mhz, and the memory is rated for 1333Mhz. I have been busy the last 4 or 5 days so I havent had a lot of time to play with it. Let me know what you think and thanks again for any help.

I have a 720 BE and just change the multiplier until the system freezes then back it off a half and check stability with prime 95. If it runs for atleast a couple of hours, I save the profile. I up the multiplier back to where it froze last and up the voltage just enough to not freeze. I got up to 17 times on the multiplier at 1.425 volts with the max CPU temp not going above 51c. I didn't want to go above 1.45 v with the stock HSF so I stopped there. I read the safe voltage max with a good cooler is somewhere between 1.45 and 1.55. I think it will likely top out with a good cooler at either 18x or 19x but cant say for sure until I get a better CPU cooler.
