I recently bought a Belkin N+ router which has a USB slot for network data access.

Howvever, after inserting an 8Gb USB memory stick into the drive I found that the memory stick now appears not to be formatted....'would you like to format it now?'

I may have withdrawn the memory stick without 'safely removing the hardware'. Does anyone have any suggestions for retrieving the lost information on the memory stick?

Thanks,

Mal

Register or log in to remove.

Try it on another computer.
Use a data recovery program for FAT, like GetDataBack. It may recover the partition plus the data.
