My Venus DS3 isnt recognized by my computer. It went through the plug and play ordeal, and told me the device was ready, but I cant see it in my computer. Am I missing something? Tried to manually assign it a drive letter in Disc management, but cannot find the proper area to do so.

Ditto That. Upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and now the Venus DS3 is not rcognized. I do see that the Cypress AT2LP (3.03.0000.2) driver is installed under devices.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, my Win7 'sees' the Venus drives (I've got 2 connected via 1394 and daisy-chained together), but accessing the drives is problematic--Oftentimes, while copying data to/from the drive, the drive will just stop with the access light still red, and it'll sit there for 2-5 minutes before it starts up and reads/writes some more. Very strange and frustrating :( They worked just fine for years under Vista.
