Help

I cannot do a disk defragmenter in windows XP when I click on the icon

It tell me MMC cannot open file C:\windows \system32\dfrg.mcs

It dose not exist, is not and MMC console, or was created by a later

version of MMC.

Can you tell me how I can fix this ?.

Are you using the windows default defrag program or have you got something else installed like diskeeper?

Cause if the windows built in defrag utility is gone, i think you may have a hard time getting it back without re-installing.

If its not there why not download a third part app like app like defraggler ; http://www.piriform.com/defraggler/update?v=1.15.163&l=1033
