Q about MOBO with Phenom 9950

BIOSTAR A770 A2+,PCI-EX, 1GB LAN (quad support)

I chose that because it was less then 90$, had decent to good reviews across the board and all the features that I need. But reading some reviews on the 9950, I saw that some MOBO's wont be able to handle the 140w power need and will fail over time. Can this be true for the MOBO I chose or should I not worry too much?
