My main computer that has the printer installed is vista 64bit. The other computers around the house are XP pro 32bit. I can see the printer but when I try to print it says it does not the driver. I go to install additional drivers but it won't let it happen. I have a canon MP780 AIO printer. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done? I have googled but not found my answer. Thanks.

Did the printer come with an installation disk? Maybe you could try installing the disk on one of the computers and see if that works. I'm new to networking so.........:)

make sure file and print sharing is enabled. seach google for that. also be sure that the other machines networks are setup in the same way. i think windows should have a wizard that will create a disk for you to run on each computer.
