asus motherboard panel Q-connecter

Need help hooking up a on/off button to my p4p800-e MB. got Q-CONNECTOR but dont fit . no pin holes for MB dont line up . any advice .check out these pic's and help me. Do i cut the pins on my MB off??????? h

looks fine to me. you attach the wires to pins on q connector, then put the white part on the mobo pins.

or, just plug the wires directly into the pins on the mobo, you don't need q connector.

but the MB has all the pins . Only 1 is missing . the Q-connecter has solid plastic , so the pins on MB have no slots to slide into . the Q-Connector has 12 pin holes , but my motherboard has 19 pins . So do I just snip the ones off my MB , or what ?
Do you or any one no where i can get the wires with the connectors and the on/off switch?? it dont seem right. if you need to see more pictures give me an email adress .

it should have come with the wires necessary to attach the power switches. you might need to call your seller and see if they gave you the wrong package contents.

if i open up my computer today, i'll take a picture of my q connector setup. my seller did it for me.
