Here's a random question... can a malfunctioning/bad mobo affect your mouse? It seems ever since i got this mobo 2 years ago, my mouse always dies out of NOWHERE. After 2-3 months of use, the mouse turns off out of nowhere. A few seconds later, it turns on. IT gets worse over time and eventually doesnt turn on anymore. I dont damage my mouse or slam it in any way so this is really weird.

ive had microsoft and logitech's break. Lot of different models. MS 1.1a, ms1.1SE, ms optical, mx518(2) and now my mx518 is slowly "dying" again. All dead over the past 2 years (when i got my rig)

I've only had the issue with Microsoft. Pushing the cable into the mouse's case might make it work again, until another wire breaks. At that point it's time for a new mouse. Making sure that the cable can move freely with the mouse helps preventing the problem.
