Hello

I want to setup Ubuntu Server (possible Jaunty 9.04) in IBM x3200 server running RHEL5 having hardware RAID setup. I suppose that this type of RAID is transparent to operating system. Do I have to do something special or just a typical setup?

Thanks

It would need a driver for your hardware RAID; normally this is included with the Linux kernel. Just try to install if it doesn't detect your RAID/disk then it appears your hardware RAID is not supported.

By the way Ubuntu 9.10 is out, i suggest you use this version.
