I finished my first build without a hitch. With essentially no help other than what I found primarily on this site I built myself a new system. I knew almost nothing about this sort of thing before I decided I wanted to like 2 months ago. The specs are as follows:

Case: Antec NSK4480
Processor: AMD Athlon x2 5000+ BE overclocked to 3ghz at stock voltage (15x multi)
Power: Antec Earthwatts 380w
GPU: EVGA 8800gt 512mb w/ dual slot cooler
Ram: 4 gb OCZ sli pci6400 at 2.1v 5-4-4-13 timing
CPU cooler: XIGMATEK HDT-S963 92mm Rifle
HD: Western Digital Cavier 160gb
CD/DVD: Samsung SH-S203B
Mobo: BIOSTAR TForce TF8200 A2+
Additional cooling: 120mm exhaust, 80mm intake

total cost w/ shipping, tax, and rebates: ~$550

-rock stable using prime 95 and memtest.
-fan control via mobo and rivatuner
-GPU temps between 48-60C
-CPU temps between 23-40C
-I closed off all side and back vents so the negative pressure would carry air through front panel vents and over the DVD and HD.

So far I've only ran BF2142, ran beautifully. What do you think?

Thanks everyone :)

Splendid
Not bad, but you can use a $5 heatsink to overclock the BE cuz it's stock volt. Also, you can use a single slot cooling for 8800GT if it's not overclocked. The PSU comes with the case. Looks great.
