Windows xp desktop icons troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a strange problem with icons on the desktop.. The names of the icons are blue?! It is not actually colored in blue, it's more like it's underlined? What is that?

Are they underlined or not? Where does blue come in to play here?

If they are really underlined, click a shortcut once and see if it launches the application.

You also have choices of foreground and background colors with your shortcuts.

Try the software tune up utilities it is a 3rd party application. After installing it you can simply recover your icons as earlier.
