Last year in sepetember I built the marathon system and used this Seagate drive ST3500320AS. Why did they discontinue it? It was a good drive? I there anything 500GB and just as good?

Likely it was just replaced by a newer product.



Here is another 500 GB HDD that's just as good if not better.

Thanks Viper, I'll get that one. Shame they ditched it though, it was a good'n. I guess Seagate are concentrating more on their 1 TB drives - onward and upward...
