I have an Aopen MX36LE-UN in my living room computer. I bought some memory (2x512MB) to upgrade with, but after I installed them I realized the motherboard only recognizes up to 256MB per slot. I was hoping someone here could tell me if there's any way the motherboard would be able to recognize up to 512MB per slot. The reason I ask is because there are only two memory slots on the motherboard, yet the specs say it can recognize up to 1GB. Obviously 2x256 is only half of 1GB, so why do they say the max memory is 1GB?

BTW I'm new here so if there's an intro thread or something like that I should post in, feel free to let me know.
