Yes you can. But you will need to buy an adapter for it to fit in the 3.5" drive slot in the case.

If its a SATA drive, you will only need to figure out how to mount it as the SATA connectors are the same for a laptop drive as they are for a desktop drive, however if it is a parallel drive then you need both a mounting solution and an adaptor.

The Scorprio's are SATA. He just needs a 3.5" bracket.
