Hi All,

I will upgrading my whole CPU to Intel Core 2 Duo system, I'm not heavy gamer, but I'd love to play Crysis and some title that get my eyes on, I won't be using SLI , so is there any midrange graphic cards to be recommended? 8800? 9600?

And which brand should I get? Asus? XFX?

Thanks.

Get either an 8800GT 512Mb or a 4850 for a little more.

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

it all depends on what Resolution u r willing to play at and with what level of detail........for anything 1440x900 or bellow + max detail.....9600GT is more than fine.....8800GT will be better for above that.

I don't think I will go to the maximum resolution of my LCD (1650x1050), i see that the 8800GT is performing better than the 9600GT, besides price, is there anything that makes 9600GT worth buy than 8800GT?

No, the 8800GT is a much better card.
