Dude if no one answers your first question, don't repost it in a different form! Just respond to your own thread, and your question will get bumped back up to the list, hopefully to be seen by someone who knows how to help you.

I'd take the Noctua, I've heard that the Noctua fans are very nice and its a great CPU cooler. Either that or the V8.

Here is another very good CPU HSF Cooler below and it will not break your budget.

Scythe MUGEN-2 SCMG-2000 120mm Sleeve CPU $36.99 Free Shipping

Would also suggest you get this Theraml Compound, it is the best on the market.

Tuniq TX-3 Extreme Performance and Exceptional Reliability Thermal Compound $10.99 ($5.99 after $5.00 Mail-In Rebate)

Hopes this helps you out some. :)

I'd personally go for the Noctua with two fans. Its very quiet, even with the fans at full speed, and it cools nearly identical to a V8. I like a quiet machine, so that's why I like the Noctua better. As to fan speed on the Noctua, an external fan controller can be used, or it probably can be adjusted in the BIOS or with using software such as Speedfan. I have a Noctua fan running without any control and it does a good job with very little noise, so I personal;ly don't see the need to mess around with it.

I don't think the Zalman 9900 will cool as well as either a Noctua or the V8, so I'd avoid it.
