I recently built this system and am attempting to get it OC'd, not a severe OC but just a jump or two. All attempts thru BIOS result in a failed reboot. Anyone attempting the same? Any help is welcome.

There might be something wrong with your rig, as the i7 platform is designed to be overclockable right through the BIOS. All your configs are correct?

The rig runs just fine under Optimized settings and EMP memory settings. If i use the Easytune 6 in Windows it runs stable set at 140Mhz (133 default), ran crysis and a few other games while it was set. Then i did a restart to check BIOS and it froze.

it must be, those are pretty badass processors when it comes to OCing....
