Okay when i run Assassin's Creed under dx10 i get

when i run in DX9 i get
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/ [...] /acdx9.jpg

Now with dx10 my mouse does not stay within the "full screen" mode.. it seems like its windowed even at my max res 1284x1024.. with running in dx9 it runs full screen just fine and my mouse stays within the confines of the window.

Thoughts? Ideas?

My system:
Intel Quad 9450
4gb ocz
x48 mobo
4870 ati pci-e
dx10

When I start the dx10 version (and I hope you didn't patch it) it starts windowed. I just hit alt+enter and it goes into full screen.

I did patch it :( Is that bad?

The patch took DX 10.1 support away, that's all. You should still be able to hit alt+enter to get it full screen.

The alt+enter works... any way to keep it fullscreened? lol.. minor inconvience at best.

the patch made assasins creed actually playable for me...

w/o the patch it constantly crashed on my hardware... after 5 mins its was a freeze... after the patch there wasn't a thing

thogrom has nvidia card?

Reply to eklipz330

Yeah, thegrom, I said he shouldn't have patched because he is using an ATI card which takes advantage of dx 10.1. For an nvidia card the patch seems to be a must.
