hey i need help picking out a new board. I am going for ATI's new GPU, the 4870. til now i have pretty die hard on buying Nvidia but since i have seen the specs on this card i dont think i can go back to Nvidia unless i can find another Card that Nvidia makes thats really nice. anyways i need to find a board that will support Crossfire and has a LGA 775 Cpu. I am prolly gonna go for the Q6700 for my CPU so i need something thats gonna work well wit that too. does anyone have any suggestions?

I would suggest not going for the Q6700. The Q6600 is popular since it is the king price/performance quad. If you must have a high clocking quad you will have better luck with the higher end 45nm procs.

For crossfire you are looking at X38 or X48 chipset. The best seem to be the Asus P5E Deluxe and Asus Rampage Formula for DDR2. If you are willing to go for DDR3 the Foxconn BlackOps is the current mobo king although I have never seen one used on air before.
