hi I'm not very well informed about comps I recently did a systems diagnostic and my short smart drive fails Is there anything I can do to repair the problem? ty

Backup your data if you have not done so. HDDs can fail at any second; you don't want that to happen while still having precious data on it.

Download HDTune, check the SMART values tab, and post a screenshot of it here. That might help diagnosing your issue.
