Honestly though, I wish AMD would stop there look-out-our-awesome-clock-speeds approach, and start pushing for extreme OCing that's attainable with home equipment. What do you think?

Well, by technicality, AMD's message is sort of, since we can achieve this with extreme cooling, you should be able to get more overclocks on less extreme methods. :)

Yeah the reality is much more disappointing than the OOHs and AAHs.

Of course we all have liquid helium stored in our backyards ROFL.

Sooner or later these psyco geeks are going to screw up with these super cold flesh destroying agents and spill some on a vital part of their anatomy, which would be any part of their bodies they don't want to do without.

I'm sure their insurance will cover the damages.

We all know the reality with home cooling is no where near those claimed results, when you can OC any CPU to 7.0G on air cooling right out of the box, then we'll have a winner for sure!

Until then its all HOOPLAH!!!

But sooner or later theres going to be a major disaster OCing with these methods, its just a matter of time, "Hey Joe, How'd you loose your hand?", and Joe says Overclocking! ROFLMAO

Well...in a gaseous state..but that's not very helpful...nitrogen...again plenty..just not liquid XD

It would be nice to see less extreme methods to get good OC's but to a point it's still rather interesting.
