OK,
iv been reading allot, and i tried the HOW TO FIX 7200.11 sites.
i constrocted a RS232 to TTL adapter from a scheme.
when i plugg the serial adapter and try hyper terminal and press ctrl+z nothing happens.
i am going to buy an adapter in case something is wrong in my designe of the adapter (im almost 99% sure its ok).
anyone knows why im not getting anything afer pressing CTRL+Z?

seagate hd 7200.11 series is now a very known hd.
seagate has an internal problem than makes thos hd undetected by bios for no reason. data is intact you just cant get to it.
no bios conection so you cant do anyting.
the only thing people found you can do is give it input serialy.
while conncted to a hd serialy you get into hyper terminal and by pressing CTRL+Z you should ger somthing like T3 >
i am not getiing that. so ither my hd pcb is completely fried or im doing something wrong.
im looing for people who could guess.
googeling 7200.11 gives you all the history of the problem.

this is the problem with this kind of forums.
lifeless unhelpfull uneducated people clogg the threads.
i bet 100$ non of you have any idea what i asked, im not even talking about the answer.
i already posted in 3 other sites and got tons of answers.
this site is for kids.
You should begin with carefully explaining your problem, not the solution.
I do agree though, you did not get a lot of help. But i'm afraid you're asking for something we cannot provide.
