Hi there. I've got a new rig:

Mobo: Gigabyte EX38T-DQ6
Micro: Quad Q6600 OC. 3GHZ (9x333)
RAM: 1+1 GB Gskill DDR3 1800
Video: Sapphire HD3870x2 1gb Gddr3 (with ANY driver)
PSU: Xilence 1000W Gaming Edition
Sound: Sblaster Xfi-Xtreme-Music (but unplugged for now)
HD: 4 hd's (1TB + 500GB + 250GB + 125GB)
DVD: LG Rewriter IDE-port

I run games and benchmarks MUCH slower than my old PC, with a Core2Duo inside. I think the second GPU is not working properly, since I disable Catalyst A.I. and the results are exactly the same activating it. So, crossfire is recognized by Everest Ultimate, but not working at all. Fan doesn't accelerate neither, what's pretty strange.

On synthetic testing, CPU works ok, and overclocking it helps, but still performance is pretty low with THAT system.

I don't know how to correctly setup BIOS or something, but I tried to disable most or every single "auto cpu setting" into BIOS, updated the BIOS version to the last one, and nothing.

I can even overclock the card and it doesn't make a noticeable difference.

I changed my 550W PSU for that Xilence 1000W and everything should be OK if it were a power problem, but...

Please help me, I'm running out of new ideas... my brother is gonna change the card to another

First, be sure you have the latest BIOS - F6, I believe (I think there's a beta F7f, but why ASK for trouble?)
Then, you may need to bump up the PCIe drive voltage a little at a time...
Good Luck!
