I have been trying to get my A64 4000+ to 3ghz, but I keep running into stability problems. Right now I have it stable to 2.9ghz and I can't get any higher.

So I started to look more into over-volting; the CPU voltage is rated at 1.35/1.4v. I have it running at 1.5v and I would like to push it higher. When over-volting the CPU is temperature the only factor that would stop me from achieving a high cpu vcore voltage?

Aside from temperature, your max working voltage is also dependent on your motherboard, which is?

I have a winfast nf4sk8aa,

if it is a problem with my motherboard would I be able to turn up the voltage past what my motherboard can handle, or would the limit in the BIOS be the limit of the motherboard, btw it is the original bios.
