For weeks I've had 3 external disks placed right next to a baking machine. Stupid I've learned. When I connect the disks to my Mac, they don't start up. My guess is that the electronics in them are dead. Any ideas how I can fix it?

Separate the drive from the enclosure, and work with each separately. It is possible the enclosures fried, but the drives are fine. You'll have to get one enclosure working, and swap each of the 3 drives into it one at a time to verify.
I have tried with various enclosures and power supplies, with no luck.
