What I will have:

2 x 230 mm fans (side and front)
1 x 120 mm fan (back)
Asetek Liquid CPU Cooling System w/ 240mm Radiator (for CPU cooling - top)

My case will be the Coolermaster HAF 932 Full Tower Gaming Case - Black

Do you think this would have sufficient cooling ability to safely sit at 4.0 ghz?

Thanks!!

The cooling will be sufficient for 4 Ghz OC with i7.
But that may reduce the life of the cpu significantly.

I agree w overshocked. I'm running 4.0ghz with H/T on air with 1.36V and 30c idle-65c full load. all within intel specs. with water cooling you'll be sitting pretty.

also intel states that their cpu's are tested to work for 50 years. Which obviously hasn't been proven but thats what they state so even if the life is shortened 60% you'll still replace other parts first. Its usually a function of the mobo or ram that kill a cpu
