I got my graphics card on around 830 through the ATI overdrive software but kept the gpu memory at like 800 or something. i used amd overdrive to try overclocking and stuff but like i mean when i click "apply," it puts the target correctly but then when i press "ok" it just restarts and then starts bluescreening. i got it back to default settings so its okay now but anyone know how i can fix this? at this moment the multiplier is only on x7!!
oh okay thanks. i'm scared i'll screw it up haha it's my first time OCing.
so i can just change the multiplier and see the Mhz im getting and tahts it right? should i mess with any other values in the BIOs
okay now it wont even boot...
windows update has been trying to restart my computer to download updates and i clicked "later" every time but then i went outside for a little while and i come back and there's my computer looping on reboots. it brings me to the "last known good configurations, start windows normally, safe mode etc" screen. when i click any one of them, it blacks out and then restarts again..... WHAT DO I DO!!! the BIOS is all in its default settings! somebody help
If you can't restore the os, go in with a live linux cd to rescue your files, and then reinstall windows. You should look into this as a really good backup tool: http://clonezilla.org/, this way you never have to reinstall windows, or anything else ever again
is taht the only way.... omgakfdljlasjflksjdoah;ajslfa
there's got to be another way. i can't get past the screen where it's got different ways to boot.......................
