Just put together a new system, everything seems to be running fine, had a few questions though. My last pc was old so I am not too familiar with this stuff.
I was connecting the cm690's top panel to the asus motherboard, and noticed that the 1394 and usb connectors didn't quite match up. I think the motherboard has 10 pins and the cm960 connector has 8. Not sure if that's right, but something like that. How do I hook that up? It seems both pins 1 and 2 (+5 volt) don't get connected if I try to hook it up like that. Is that normal, or am I going to need some sort of adapter.
Another question is, instead of hooking up the back panel fan on the 960 to the power supply, I went to the motherboard, I think it was called fan 1 or something like that, but right under it was another connector called fan pwr. What is the difference between the two?
Thanks in advance, loving the new system. Too bad I have to go to work in a few hours and can't try out the games I bought yet.

The USB deal is pretty normal. Most devices use 12v anyway so it isn't a big deal.
The fan connectors are the same thing just labeled differently. Worst case scenario is that one of them is just given 12v all the time instead of being controlled by the mobo, which doesn't make sense since it uses a 3 pin.
