Is 1.5 volts and 61c load too high for my 720 BE ?

1.5 seems a little bit high..

Ouch ! Not an early death :( Maybe i will bring it down a bit. Im at 17x with 215 fsb at 1.492 volts at 3.7Mhz.

umm the max recommended voltage is 1.425 V.

Be aware that software and bios temp readings are often inaccurate, 61 C is cutting it pretty close. The cpu itself can take 1.5 V, I personally went up to 1.55 V but if you want to use it for few years its best to stick at or very close to the recommended max voltage.

Yea the more i read the more i think i am going to drop it down a bit. I think i will be happy at 3.6Mhz. I game mostly and a little bit of home movie making so i dont think i need to push it to hard.

How does 3.63Mhz at a 16.5x multiplier, 220 Fsb, 1.41 volts at 49c load sound?

Sounds good, your cpu should last many years at that level.
