HD 3650 and 8600GT both perform like each other and they are both better than 8500GT.but what is your budget? maybe u can get 9600GSO,8800GS,9600GT,HD3850 all of these cards outperform 8600GT and HD 3650.

If you can't get anything better, get the 3650. Texture rich games eg. oblivion mods would love the bigger memory and the ati chip is 55nm so it should run a bit cooler

hi guys thanks for ur reply am on a tight budget $65. so which of the following will be better for occasional gaming, and better hd video, the hd 3650 has dx 10.1 does this have an advantage over the 8600 gt not to mention the hd 3650 has 512 ddr3 vram vs. the 256 mb ddr3 on the 8600gt does this have any effect on performance, which card has a good future. looking towards gaming on vista ultimate.

Of the cards you are choosing from, I would recommend the 3650.
There have been reports that the G84 and G86 chips (8600 and 8500 series) are suffering from premature failure.

With a $65 budget, you are not going to get a card that will be able to play many future games with everything turned up. If you can save a little more and get the 8800GS linked earlier or a 8800GT you will have a much better gaming experience.

Yeah you really should try and get a budget up to the $100 mark if you can, then you can get a nice card for that money. Pretty much anything above the 3650 or 8600 (in their respective series) will blow them away in terms of gaming performance. But if you absolutely can't get any higher, then I guess the 3650 is a good choice.

Yeah, keep your money and save more until you can get an 8800GT or even a HD 4850. That's the best card that can run on your 450W PSU, btw.

While you save, the cards get cheaper too, you know...
