Hi guys, a friend of mine reformatted a partition inadvertently, the scenario is that he insert the USB drive and try to access in my computer, but when he did this, Windows prompt to reformat the drive and he did this, of course, he can access now, but all files were lost. Can someone recommend a sw or a method to recovery the files?

I have used "recover my files" for customers in the past and it works well. The key is to not use the drive for anything until you recover what you need in it. Good luck.

I also used data recovery wizard, recovered most of my files, I recommend it.

thanks guys, I heard that the files in root directory is hard to recovery if you reformat the partition, I'll try this sw.
