Looks good. A cheaper gaming case would be the P182, but the antec twelve hundred is good. The cpu cooler if you plan to overclock, I would go with the xigametek s1283. Since you have so much to spend on the system, you could also upgrade the cpu to the q9550.

first off, i just want to say that i'm a hardcore gamer so hopefully you can see that i'm also coming from your point of view

well the antec 900 is another great gaming case that is cheaper

it'll save you some money. my gaming computer cost me 3k also. for the whole setup

for your speakers, why not go all the way? if you don't want substandard parts. the logitech G51 are good, but if you want the best, get the Logitech Z-5500. 550 watts of power. just a suggestion. i have the logitech z5300 myself. i think its 350 watts? i dunno if they still make the z-5300 though. i also use those speakers for parties i throw and its like a club! its awesome to listen to music or hear the bass in games such as World in Conflict or any game for that matter.

and the creative fatal1ty headset, why not get a USB headset? i tried to look for the model of my logitech headset but i forgot what it was and i couldn't find it online, but yea, in my experience the higher end logitech headsets works really well. besides a computer gamer/enthusiast, im also a dj, and i've used various programs to mix on the computer when im not on my tables, and i use my logitech headset because the sound quality is great, i'll try to find my headset model and get back 2 you, if not sorry in advance.

for your keyboard...i say you don't need the G11. save yourself some money. i play almost every single game out there and that is the reason why i built my comp. world in conflict, crysis, tf2, cod4, starcraft, Battlefield 2, etc etc...the list goes on.

i have a 15$ logitech keyboard, and honesty i think that is all you need. i use to play counterstrike competitively in Cal-M, and i had a regular keyboard. i don't think it makes a difference at all.

as for your mouse, i have the same mouse. it is FREAKIN awesome. personally i only use it at 800 DPI. 2000 is just overkill, and new mouses have 3200 and 4000 DPI? its almost impossible to control those DPI as the move cursor drags too fast across the screen unless you have your sensitivity in games at like .1 or something. i love the G5 and i've had it for awhile. you can adjust your DPI on the go as it has buttons to lower/higher your DPI. mines set at standard at 400/800/2000. i only use 800 though. its very comfortable and looks cool too. if you can, get a good gaming mousepad with it. maybe something from icemat? look into it :)

feel free to ask any more questions, because we have similar rigs styles (kinda) and we're both gamers! cheers.
